I was offered a fellowship by the Graduate School of City University of New York on the basis of my GRE (chemistry) scores soon after I have completed BS degree in chemistry with physics as the minor at University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. I have earned two masters degrees, MA in Polymer Chemistry and MS in Organic Chemistry, which has enabled me to gain admission to the doctoral program in chemistry at the University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign where I have fulfilled all requirements for the doctorate in organic chemistry except the writing and defense of the dissertation itself. With normal class size groups... the goal is to provide a lesson with real educational content but to deliver it in a totally entertaining format... usually organizing the students into groups to a) provide support for the challenged and b) excitement for the total class as each group competes against the others. one-on-one teaching requires that the objective(s) be well established and then carefully focus on the individual student's best learning method, be it: verbal, written, reading, hands-on, or all of the above. I made counseled and guarded my peers in my area of study I also tutored in calculus 1 for a program by the division of science called City College Academic for Professional Preparation (CCAPP).
