I am a full-time high school teacher with over 12 years of experience in education. I specialize in Science, but have experience teaching and tutoring most levels and subjects. I was more of an instructor than a teacher. I was a day camp counselor at Solway House parent/child resort in Saugerties N.Y. I instructed kids how to swim, dive, play various sports and gave dancing lessons to the guests. As a high school student I tutored 7th and 8th graders in an after school community center. I was one of a few staff at the University of Connecticut to instruct graduates and staff in the use of the various electronic facilites available to them.

I made counseled and guarded my peers in my area of study I also tutored in calculus 1 for a program by the division of science called City College Academic for Professional Preparation (CCAPP). After graduating with a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2005 I went on to work as a Special Education aid at the middle school level. I was responsible for a ten year old girl with Asperger's Syndrome, which required me to monitor her throughout the day as well as modify each lesson given in each subject. As math was her weakest subject, I was able to develop a a learning system which suite her learning style. I also taught her not only math but every other subject such as science, social studies, grammar, and reading.
