I like to have the students actively participating in the lessons. They enjoy working out the lesson examples and problems on the media that is used so all of the class can see the successes and where we need more work and explanation. Hands on work is very valuable such as working with graphing calculators. The students enjoy manipulatives and technology where they can make their own discoveries. Math and the graphing calculator have become one in the same, so I use them constantly in the classroom.
I have been teaching for seven years-mostly math and some language arts. The math teaching included geometry, algebra 1, algebra 2, basic high school math and middle school math. A Little Bit About Me...

The position that I applied for is to teach/tutor College Algebra or advanced mathematics and physics. In term of education, I have a degree in Electrical Engineering with many hours in Mathematics. Regarding experience, I had taught Math from Entry Level up to Calculus at JLF University
Teaching is my passion. In the near future, I don't see myself doing anything else but that.
