I love teaching others and would be a very positive model for those who have a defeatest attitude in the very beginning. It is my motto "a person can be set up for success or be set up for failure". I choose success for myself and others because even the most minimal achievement can mean a great deal. I believe at different ages children can be inspired to do well with their education.
As a graduate of The Ohio State University I was very driven to assist other individuals whenever I could to complete their education and help them in any way I possibly could. I have completed all requirements for a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have taught mathematics, computer applications, life skills, and other subjects at high school and community college levels in Colorado. I have tutored and homeschooled statistics, college algebra, trigonometry, and other mathematics topics, and homeschooled a complete spectrum of high school level topics.
I believe in interactive teaching, where the student is as involved as the teacher. My satisfaction comes from watching students discover knowledge that they had previously thought unavailable. Every student can learn, and my purpose and goal is to help each student stretch as far as he or she is willing to go.
