My love of kids lead me to get a Masters in Elementary Education. I taught third grade for three years and fourth grade one year in private Christian schools. I enjoyed being able to carry on the great Christian heritage of our country and our faith as Christians to the next generation. I tutored several students who were learning English as a second language. In the 2014/2015 school year I worked at a Montessori School. I was able to study montessori methods which help to develop the student's independence, confidence, curiosity, and concentration.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate student at Rice University, I taught labs for the undergraduate students and was also an exam grader. Furthermore, upon the completion of my doctorate degree in physics, I taught physics for six and a half years at the university level. Following this, I taught mathematics on the high school level and have been a tutor on the high school and middle school level. Thus, I have several years of experience in a teaching or tutoring capacity. As an undergraduate, I completed my degree with a 3.5 grade point average and had all A's and B's during my graduate education.
My teaching motto is simple, practice makes perfect. The more you practice solving physics problems the easier it gets. As a classroom teacher often facing as many as 37 students at one time, it was difficult to provide the appropriate learning environment for many of these children's needs.
