Physics and Mathematics Tutor

From my tutoring experience I have noticed that most students who have trouble understanding a difficult concept do so because they did not understand a more basic prerequisite concept, so I try to help students "fill in the gaps." When working with students, I work through a few problems with them, and then I have them do a few problems on their own to see if they understand. If I see that the student does not understand some prerequisite concepts required to solve the problems, I make sure to have them understand those concepts before continuing with the current problems.

Turning your weakness into your strength

I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting with my peers in tenth grade. I have tutored a wide range of subjects, from Geometry through Calculus III, from general computer knowledge through utilizing the advanced functions of Microsoft Access. College Algebra is one of my top subjects! College Algebra is the combination of Algebra 1 and 2 although it is slightly more complicated it is basically the same principles and concepts as high school algebra. I feel that I am more than capable of teaching someone how to manipulate equations and think analytically.
