ADD/ADHD is one of my top subjects! ADHD in teens and adults is one of my specialties.

Coming from a family of academicians, and a father who has a doctorate in education, I learned to love learning at an early age and have always valued education and try to instill that in others. I am proficient in many areas and work well with all people from all walks of life, at varying levels. My experience comes from being in a helping profession, in which I assisted hundreds of people live up to and achieve their highest potential. A Little Bit About Me...

I make sure that when I teach, I prep each lesson for that individual person. No one learning plan can teach every single person, so I hand-tailor things for each student.
I have been tutoring and teaching since my Sophomore year in high school. At that time I was teaching English as a second language to a few foreigners who were visiting my school. After graduation I began teaching in Missouri at the middle school level for students with behavioral disorders. I taught all subjects in my classroom. After 2 years I moved to the high school level where I co-taught algebra and pre-algebra. I did this for 5 years and absolutely loved it! Although I do not have a degree in math, I am very comfortable teaching up to algebra as I did it for 5 years. I would be comfortable teaching any math subject up to the algebra level. In college I took 17 hours of Spanish and have a love for the language. I would be very comfortable tutoring beginning learners in this area as I have mastered the basic concepts of the language. In my years of tutoring, I have mostly tutored in math and Spanish.
