I received my undergraduate degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania in Earth & Space Science. I then went on to get my masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction from Bloomsburg University also. I am currently waiting to receive my Pennsylvania State teaching certificate, I will then be certified to teach Secondary Education (grades 7-12) Earth & Space Science. I had the experience of student teaching in both a high school and middle school setting. I student taught 7th grade general science, 9th grade introduction to Biology, and a 12th grade Earth Science class.
My teaching style is more student centered. I believe that involving the students with hands on activities allows them to grasp and understand certain topics easier. As a Business Administration major, I have had extensive schooling in all realms of business, accounting, and finance. In my earlier years, I had extensive exposure to math of all levels, as well. In order for them to succeed it somtimes requires a little more attention than the classroom teacher can provide.
