A Little Bit About Me...

I enjoy teaching children of all ages. Learning can be fun as long as you can relate it to something that the child is interested in. Gaining the knowledge that is taught in middle school and high school only helps the child to further education. I believe learning should be fun and enjoyable. I am very patient and take pride in producing positive results.
I obtained my Associates of Science Degree in Biology at Macon State College completing courses in Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Calculus. I then completed my Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology at Valdosta State University. At Valdosta State University, I completed courses such Microbiology, Molecular Genetics of DNA, Animal Physiology, Protein Biochemistry, and Statistics. A Little Bit About Me...

Tutoring has taught me that perseverance and patience are the keys to tackling tough situations, and I try to pass that along to others. I am very versatile when it comes to teaching various age groups. I try to keep my sessions exciting, but focused and instructional. I teach to each to the unique style of the individual student and when instructing a medium to large group, I adjust to the majority learning style;moreover,"no student is left behind."
It is my belief that I do not truly master subjects until I can teach it to others. Thus, I view tutoring as an essential component of the learning process.
