My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : I have a Bachelor of Arts in English including extensive experience with Shakespearean plays, poetry, vocabulary, close readings, multiple meanings, and translation into modern American dialogue. A few of the works I have analyzed are Henry V, Macbeth, Richard the 3rd, Othello, Taming of the Shrew, Romeo and Juliet, Much Ado About Nothing, and all of the Shakespearean sonnets.

I have taught 6th, 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students. I expect hard work and dedication. I use classroom-tested teaching strategies that include but are not limited to role-play, reader-response, kinesthetic and tactile movement, drawing, and holistic engagement in the "story-world" to help students understand and connect to the literature. I am patient.

I love working with not only the students but the parents as well; this will help the parent(s) have some understanding and can work with child as well.
