I like to create a meeting day before the tutoring begins. That meeting day consist of me seeing where the student I am tutoring is at. After seeing the subject that student is struggling with, I create weekly packets for the days I do tutor the student. That packet will be practice for the student to do infant of me as an "exam". Weekly packets will be given all the time until that student masters the concept.

My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have a Bachelor's degree (with highest honors)from Florida International University and I did all of my graduate work (with distinction) at the Univ. of Miami. One of my specialties is creative writing. I teach children, teenagers, and college students (and beyond) how to write interestingly, effectively and quickly. This problem is abstract and challenging to some people. Thus, I rephrase it to, "If you have 7 quarters in your pocket, how much money do you have?" My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Creative writing relies on the same skills as any basic composition, except that you use your imagination to develop your idea or premise! Simple!

My teaching style is friendly and helpful. I do require that all my students pay close attention to proper spelling and grammar, and I use only constructive criticism.
I currently teach Scriptwriting at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. I have also taught Business Communication and Media Concept Development. My experience includes numerous reports, articles and a textbook. In every class that I teach, students write complete Production Packets, and do essay assignments so that everyone learns proper composition style. I have a great deal of experience in guiding students in producing excellent written documents!
