I have worked in an Elementary school as an aid to the teacher, as well as spending more one on one time with the children to help them understand the subject and be able to finish their work. A Little Bit About Me...

I really enjoy teaching math. I enjoy the challenge of finding ways to help students of various learning styles to understand. I feel that patience and consistency are important virtues to exhibit when teaching. The learning environment is also important. It should be conducive to learning and not overly distracting. I enjoy seeing students learn concepts that they didn't know before and getting excited about their new understanding.
I have much experience teaching math to students of various learning styles. During the last 14 years, I have taught algebra, geometry, algebra 2, pre-algebra, basic math, pre-calculus, physical science, earth science, and biology mostly to high school level students. I also have much experience teaching "at risk" students and I have experience tutoring at Sylvan Learning Center.
