Firm yet fair. I show different techniques and then let the students try on their own as I give suggestions as needed. I have one year art teaching experience at a public school. I also have had 5 years in an art school to develop my schools. While at the public school I taught 7th through 12th graders. I taught them various drawing skills that grew steadily stronger each and every day we drew. At the end of the school semester I had several students whose worked exceeded what I thought possible. Ans one student was granted a scholarship to a school based upon my recommendation.

I currently provide care for 6 children (3 different families) which range in age from 14 months to 9 years old, one of which is autistic. I love working with all ages of children, and understand that each child is different in their style of learning. It takes a lot of patience and understanding, especially with children that have special needs. My goal is to greatly increase the knowledge of the student in order for them to succeed in their education. With my bachelors degree in Business Administration, I have gained many skills. I have a great understanding of writing and reading, with experience in professional essays, research papers, and checking for grammatical errors. Over the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of providing child care for all ages of children, through which I have been able to teach and tutor the subjects they were learning in school at the time of care.

As a 22 year veteran teacher and now a Children's Director of Ministry, I have worked in most all capacities with children and feel that God gave me this gift. I have earned a BS in Chemistry and a minor in Math. I am currently working as a chemist, so I have kept up with all the new studies that are taking place right now. I have tutored all through High School, College and thereafter. I have a real passion for learning math, all sciences, and history. I hope I can pass this respect for these studies on to everyone I teach. I believe we all learn in different ways, and I am always open minded in finding the best way for that student I am working with at that time. I believe everyone can achieve the highest of goals if we all strive for that success and find out a way to get there.
