To whom it may concern, I have taught as a classroom teacher, a Title I teacher, and as a special education teacher. All of these experiences have given me skills I use as a teacher. I have a love of books and enjoy sharing them with children. I have always enjoyed working with children. I enjoy watching their faces when the lesson I am teaching suddenly makes sense to them! I have forty years of experience at the secondary and college levels, and in retirement I tutor elementary school students in reading and math and teach philosophy to retired adults. I have been a teacher, administrator, and counsellor in eight independent schools and a college.
