I have a BSED in ASL/English from Valdosta State University as well as a minor in music. I also studied Voice for 2 years from Appalachian State University. I currently have a VQAS level 1 in ASL. And an SLPI Intermediate. (2006). I have been in numerous honors and all-state choirs and orchestras as the principle flute player. I have played flute for 20 years. I have experience using the Ready2Read program for sight reading help and the Spell to Write and Read program for phonics. I am a homeschool mom of preschool and elementary age children. I have had experience teaching large class sizes, but I have also spent a lot of time in small group reading instruction, and I have worked in small group math. I tutored a kindergarten girl to improve her phonemic awareness. I tutored Language Arts in elementary school after school hours.
