As a high school student I participated in peer tutoring. While in high school I volunteered to serve as a tutor in Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, Zoology, and Biology. I graduated with 27 AP credits which helped me complete a B.S. at Clarke College in 3 years. At Clarke I found that tutoring my peers helped both the student and me. As a biology major at Clarke College I took many courses in science including biology, chemistry, and physics. Clarke is a liberal arts college so I took a variety of courses including English and History. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a degree in a Communication and a passion for enriching the youth in our community. Throughout my educational career I was always involved with a youth organization as either a Big Sister, basketball coach or a junior achievement volunteer. A full summer was spent as a camp counselor which was filled with daily schedules, leadership training, guided activities, numerous hikes and cooking projects. By ascertaining a student’s current knowledge and beliefs about a particular subject, I am able to help students advance to their fullest potential.
