I believe that kids learn best when they have incentive, whether it is something they relate to or something they find interesting. I believe few will find homework interesting, unless it is relatable to their daily lives. I like to facilitate the process and let the child make his/her own discovery with minimal intrusion by the instructor. Self discovery is more satisfying than using a force fed method of rote learning. I'm a graduate of Georgia Tech '87 with a Masters degree, since then I've worked with numerous Department of Defense contractors working on projects ranging from Image Processing to Missile Simulation.
