French is one of my top subjects! Having majored in college in French and living in France since 1976, I am bilingual and would gladly help children, high school/college students as well as older adults learn this wonderful language. I can help total beginners as well as intermediate/advanced learners. I have been teaching French to American/British students for 15 years. I also enjoy talking about French culture in general and giving travel tips to those who wish to visit Paris, the City of Light, or the provinces/regions.
I teach all levels in ESL and French. My teaching methods depend greatly on the students as every student has his or her own learning style!
I am very patient with young children as I have had four children myself.
I have been teaching French to English-speaking people living in France since 1979. I have also been teaching English as a Second Language to French adults in a business environment and to high school/college students as well.
I particularly enjoy tutoring reading and spelling to children K-12th Grade. However, since I have been residing in France for over 35 years, my speciality is also ESL and French to non-French speakers. My undergraduate degree was obtained at Agnes Scott College (Decatur, GA) and I went to France for my Junior Year Abroad. I am now moving back to the States (Savannah).
