Throughout high school and college, I performed at an academic level well above average. As a result, I often found myself helping my fellow students. As part of my graduate assistantship at Missouri State, I work in the math tutoring lab several hours a week, tutoring (primarily) algebra and calculus students. I also teach MTH 102, which is approximately equivalent to high school Algebra II. I have taught more than 130 sections of twenty two different courses in seven different academic disciplines at five different colleges and universities. I have graduate degrees from Harvard and Johns Hopkins. I read seventeen languages.
I have children who are twenty one, seven, six, four, and two, as well as a granddaughter who is three.
