I understand all students learn differently, so it was my goal to ensure that I offered a variety of techniques to present the class material. I encouraged my students to offer suggestions if they had a better idea about the method of instruction. During high school I worked as a volunteer in St. Petersburg, Florida through All Children’s Hospital. Within the Bedside Buddies Program, I was able to spend over 200 hours working with physically and mentally challenged children to maintain their grades when they were experiencing long staying in the hospital.
