The following year I was offered a position as yearbook adviser, and I further developed my skills with high school students. While I earned my bachelor's degree in communication from Loyola, I also worked as an Academic coach for high school students. I spent a year tutoring students for an academic competition that tested all skill areas including, writing, math, history and science.
