During my years attending UMass Dartmouth, I recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology with a minor in Business Administration. But I also gained alot of experience working with children. I tutored elementary age students in the star program and college students at my campus job in the Unity House. I also was the coordinator for the New Bedford Speech Academy. I believe that every student should have a unique path, with no two students having the same path to musical fulfillment. Each student of mine has their lessons individually tailored to their needs. I will even write exercises for my students to emphasize a certain skill I wish them to possess. The foundation for musical production is an individual journey with two main aspects: dedication (practice) and musicianship (the love of music). Having worked with a huge number of beginner and intermediate music students, I believe in getting to know the student and his or her aspirations, and then devising lessons to address the individual needs of that student. I also believe that discovery and exploration are great ways to keep students motivated to learn and practice.
