I am currently a tutor and contract educator in the Richmond area. I have been an instructor at Rice University, and I have been a substitute teacher for the Toms River (NJ) school system. I have undergraduate degrees in history and journalism as well as graduate degrees in history. I have also worked in the public history field as a museum interpreter and educator. My comments on tutoring Grammar : I am highly skilled in the use of grammar and the instruction of the usage of various grammar structures. My experience includes informal teaching of grammar to those with English as a second language.

I have experience teaching children ages 4-6, including both neurotypical and autism-spectrum children.
