Seeing the look and smile on the face of a student that finally grasps a concept, or realizes they have just read on their own for the first time, OH What a Feeling!!! I graduated from Arkansas State University in 1974 and taught third grade for seven and a half years, then moved to another town and taught 5th grade resource for six years. I relocated to Tennessee and taught high school special education for seven years. After deciding that I enjoyed teaching younger children, I transferred to Cheatham Middle School, where I presently teach fifth grade inclusion.
