My comments on tutoring Genetics : I have always been interested in genetics and two years ago had my DNA tested.

For the greater part of my life I have been involved in various facets of education. Hands on, and more of an application study. I believe that the only way to actually understand something is being able to apply it to real world situations.
My experience is all in college. I had 9 Labs in college in all my science courses. I excelled very well in my science courses and i keep learning. Did great in my research project class. Need help with Biology? I can make learning fun!!

I have always used student-oriented teaching methods. For example I usually give the students real -life scenarios such as case studies to reinforce the concepts they learn.
