A Little Bit About Me...

I believe all students can learn but obviously in different ways. While I am a firm believer in self-discipline, I also am flexible in working with children but not to the point of sacrificing true learning.
I have taught Spanish in high schools in PA and MD. I have taught for 20 plus years as a full time teacher. Mainly, the instruction was in grades 9 thru 12 at the Spanish I-IV level. I also have experience teaching literature in the junior high grade levels.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent graduate, I have the unique skill of relating to students on their own level. I love listening to their needs and assessing the situation with great care and concern. There are different learning techniques and all students are different. Once I learn the proper needs of the student, I will be very successful in helping them reach their goals. I have been a High School Spanish Teacher for three years under the state of North Carolina. Before that, I was lead school teacher at a daycare where I specialized in Spanish. I have studied abroad to Spain, Portugal, and Africa. Also, I have done tutoring on the side to High School students. I wish to teach Spanish in the target language.
I find that every student can learn. Although challenging, every human being has the power to learn another language. I would describe my teaching style as fun yet effective. I like to immerse my students in the target language to ensure proper learning. I will practice verb drills, sing songs, and perform skits to ensure that the material is properly learned.
