Writing is one of my top subjects! My award-winning writing career spans 38 years. Accolades include a Katie Award and three “Council for Advancement and Support of Education” awards. I taught freshman composition at Texas A&M Commerce and Paris Junior College. My primary focus in graduate school was literature. Much of my studies related to children's and adolescent literature.
