My name is Richard DiTullio and I have been interested in the sciences and education for many years. I received my BA in Biology from Drew University and went on to obtain my PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. My comments on tutoring ACT : I have tutored the math portion of the ACT only.

I think that I am very clear and concise in my explanations of concepts. I am also very good at explaining concepts in multiple ways. So if a student doesn't get how to do a problem using one method, I can go over another approach. I'm a good listener.
I have been teaching math since 8/2000. I first began teaching in a large urban district and then switched to teaching in a private school. I have taught math at both the high school and middle school levels. The subjects I have taught include algebra I and II, geometry, AP Calculus AB,and middle school math. A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my life I have been tutoring and teaching my peers. In elementary through high school, teachers would ask me to take time to explain one-on-one the coursework with my classmates. In college I naturally became the go-to person for help with coursework. My official experience, however, did not come until I was in graduate school.
