I love working with children and students of all ages. I was a volunteer at Shriners Childrens Hospital for many years in the recreational therapy department. I was a "class teacher" at a friend's daycare part time, and I held a summer job as a lifeguard and swim instructor for many years. I find that when teaching something new or difficult, it is best to find a way it relates to each individual. Once you discover this, you can make it fun and relavent for them.

I want the student to fully comprehend what they are doing. If not, they will never be able to do it without me there.
