Hello! My name is Payton and I am currently a student at Illinois State University. I am studying to get my bachelors in Special Education - Learning and Behavior Specialist. I am currently a junior and will be graduating in Spring of 2024. Once I graduate, I will be certified to teach k-12 grade Special Education. I have a BS in psychology with a minor in biology from the University of Illinois. My focus has been on medicine and science, working in adult medical education for over 12 years. I owned a medical education company for five years, working with physicians who would be considered the top two percent in their fields in the world. We developed curriculum for doctors, pharmacists and nurses to teach them about new drugs and new research, all with the hope of improving patient care. During this time, I honed my grammar skills by writing and editing journal articles and medical monographs. Along with my experience in adult education, I have always had a love for children.
