My comments on tutoring Resume Writing : I have been a business owner for three years and over five years in marketing, management, and customer service. I also recruited numerous individuals for a major telecommunications company for over a year. I know what an employer is looking for on a resume and what they do not want to see. I am a very friendly and patient individual. Since I specialize in tutoring elementary children to adults,I understand I am going to have different methods of teaching. For all my students, I try to find out what their weakness and strengths are. I attempt to have them notice it as well; that way we can work together as a team. For children, I always have some type of reward or goal for them to strive for. Individualized learning/teaching for optimal comprehension

I take a hands on material approach to learning/teaching. I feel that young students learn best when they can physically learn, such as through blocks/puzzles/interactive learning devices and other similar approaches. I try to let the student use their hands as much as I can to aid in their learning process. For older students such as my high school students or their college counterparts I use more direct audial teaching and visual teaching styles.
