Drawing is one of my top subjects!

I am a professional fine artist and graphic designer whose studio is located in Selbyville, DE. I've enjoyed over 10 years of painting professionally in all types of mediums and styles, and 4+ years experience in the graphic design field. I hold both an Associates and Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institutes. I have been teaching art classes for all ages for about 3 years and have worked in the local school district and online. My Master's degree is in English and Creative Writing.
My teaching style is to provide my students with the tools, fundamentals, and techniques they need to acquire, broaden, and sharpen their skills, while I put an emphasis on allowing them to practice independently, critiquing when necessary.

Studied AP Art in high school, then earned BA in Art & Art History at Washington College. I have practiced multiple techniques in the fields of 2D & 3D work and am versed in a variety of media, such as oil, acrylic, charcoal, graphite, colored pencil, copic marker, mixed media, & found object. Sculptural experiments were used in my collaborations with theatre (set designer for David Hirson's "La Bete" & Val Dunn's "The Beauteous Majesty of Denmark."
