Dedicated student projecting skills onto others

I take a hands on approach to teaching. The best way to learn is by using a three step program. 1) Explain and project the information onto the student, 2) Work the problem out with the student, and 3) Supervise as the student attempts the problem individually. If necessary, I can assign useful problems for the student to complete.
I am an engineering student at Marietta College. I have a strong background of Mathematics all the way up to Differential Equations. I am able to drive to your home, meet you on campus or even a library. I attended a highly selective boarding school in Delaware where my learning and group think skills were developed. I have had to balance extracurricular activities with school for many years and I understand how instrumental a tutor can be in the learning process.

As a Canisius College graduate, I was very motivated to practice different teaching approaches. With my passion to incorporate/integrate technology into my lessons, students will gain a better grasp/understanding of how business is used in everyday life. I doubled majored in Business and Accounting at Thiel College, which has given me a wide spectrum of knowledge of the business world. I have 2 Years of teaching First Aid/ CPR/ AED at the American Red Cross. I also have 1 quarter of tutoring physics at Washington State Community College. I also instruct Pet CPR/First Aid for the American Red Cross. This is especially fulfilling when watching children learn that there is something they can do to help save their injured or sick pet. Though, it has taken me many years to complete my degree, I believe this proves that persistance and perseverance pays off in the end, and that one is never too old to learn.
