English is one of my top subjects!

PHILOSOPHY The key to education is to love what you do and I love what I do. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing students' progress. As I teach with love and I create a fun environment for students (using games to practice the language), students become involved and interested in the classroom. I have also tutored one-on-one and I prepare a lot of different activities for the class and exercises for the student to be able to practice the language when I'm not there. I encourage watching TV news programs to practice listening comprehension and the use of flash cards in order for the student to memorize some short phrases. I am not young enough to know everything

I agree with the concept that each person learns a bit differently, and even more so that as a tutor, I should try and find the most effective style for my tutee. My academic career also taught me the importance of setting time limits for each action item; and switching tasks to keep the mind sharp.
You will see from my resume below that I have strong experience in math, science, engineering and computers. It is worth mentioning that I am also skilled in english (5 on my AP World Lit exam) and art (voted most artistic in my senior high school class). I began my college journey as an English major. I decided to switch to Elementary Education to be able to reach future writers before they lost the love for it. I have worked with all ages from toddlers to seniors in high school. I have been published in world wide devotional for women along with a world wide magazine.
