I have worked as an English, Math, and Science tutor at both the undergraduate and graduate level for the past 7 years. A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored high school students at San Gorgonio High School in a variety of subjects for 6 months. In addition, I worked as an independent English tutor in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 6 months. When I was in high school I did two years of tutoring at Franklin Elementary. I'm currently employed at Club Z Tutoring and attend University of Redlands to obtain my teaching credential.
I can teach children of all ages. I believe it is easiest to build rapport with the student before teaching them. If there is a good relationship between the student and teacher then it is easier to teach and learn. I use different styles of teaching that address all types of learners. I will incorporate visual aids, music, hand movements and other techniques to enhance the students retention of information. My teaching style is student focused. It is necessary to understand the student's strenghts and needs before one can begin to assist them in learning the academic material that they need to master. Much of my preshool teaching career consisted of working with four year olds and getting them ready for kindergarten.
