At the University of California-Berkeley, I have pursued my academic interests and personal convictions through a variety of study, work and volunteer experiences. I have earned two bachelor's degrees in English Literature and Legal Studies and received honor's in Legal Studies after completion of a ninety page research paper. My teaching style is straight and to the point. My goal is to make the kids understand that the only thing holding them back is themselves. Hard work and a desire to learn will win every time. I LOVE the moment when the kids "get it", when they become confident in learning.
When I entered college I was immediately drawn to tutor my peers as needed. I worked with the single mom's program at IVC and also did job coaching for the City of Long Beach Disabled program.
