I have been a teacher for the past five years. I have taught Language Arts and History. For the past two years I have taught 7th and 8th grade, but I have also taught 9th and 5th grade. Outside of my career, I have tutored my own children, currently ages 11 and 9.I have also been an Intervention Coach and tutor. I excell at individual and small group tutoring.

I enjoy teaching, and particularly teaching children and young adults. I am a patient, considerate teacher, and I am willing to review the materials as often as necessary to help the student succeed. I had the benefit of a nurturing tutor in high school, and her example has helped shape my world-view.
