I graduated from Jefferson High School in the spring of 2012. I now attend Indiana University-Purdue University in Fort Wayne. I have two younger siblings and 4 younger step-siblings that I have helped with their homework, or helped them better understand material assigned to them. Their ages range from 8-17. I know how to explain certain subjects in multiple ways to ensure that eventually the student will understand the material. My comments on tutoring Spelling : None of my English classes were allowed to halt their spelling practices. As a result, my students had the highest results on state tests in this area of their verbal.

I have taught nearly all areas of language arts including, but not limited to, ECA/GQE remediation, SAT/ACT prep, beginning-intermediate-advance composition, AP English/literature, poetry, American literature, British literature, drama, speech, and school newspaper. I have, in addition, worked with school drama productions, encouraged my "poetically inclined" students to participate in school poetry slams and co-founded a student art/literary publication. I was also voted "Most Influential Teacher" for eight straight years. Additionally, I have been an instructor in adult education with a high pass result for my GED students.
