I would best describe my method of teaching as a give and take experience. Through diologue, I am able to lead the student through the thought process that will derive the correct answer. Giving bits of information can provoke a new approach to the task at hand. I also feel it is important to individualize each person being tutored, as everyone learns differently. Students learn skills by using them in a realistic, subject-specific context, and in a combined way. So they might use other skills taught before such as note taking, highlighting, all in context.
