I earned my bachelor's degree from Oregon State University, taking mainly writing and literature. In my master's program I did a lot of writing classes and I focused mainly on publishing, and subjects such as editing and grammar. Instead of taking Spanish, I took statistics. The voyage of deepening a child’s enthusiasm to write and read well is so delightful and satisfying! This revelation didn’t come in my writing courses in high school or college but when I taught my four children to read and write. Now that they’re all in college or graduated from college, I once again became available for tutoring.
