Experienced ESL Instructor/Tutor

My teaching style is a mix of both teacher and student centered. There are times where it is important to give students the information they need as well as examples. My comments on tutoring Literature : Experienced in analysis and responses to literature, from classics like Shakespeare, to Hemingway and Joyce, and contemporaries like Angela Carter.

I prefer hands on, a back-and-forth style of learning where both I and the student have something to offer to the session. I like input from my students, and like including real world examples and application of the skills I'm teaching.
I've been involved in the arts since high school, and I graduated summa cum laude from one of the top arts colleges in the world, Savannah College of Art and Design. I earned a B.F.A in illustration, which I'm currently using to illustrate a series of graphic novels.
