Education is my passion, for both myself and others. During the past four years, I have obtained a BS in Accounting with a Concentration in Fraud Examination and a Minor in Business Management. I have been employed full-time as the Business Manager of a private, not-for-profit Christian school, and as the Business Director of a student newspaper, The Voice. I have worked continuously in the educational setting with students, staff, and clients. With the vast array of individualized learning abilities, styles, and patterns I have come to be very successful in enabling others to understand such areas such as math, finance, and accounting.

I believe that everyone is teachable, if the student has the desire and the teacher has the commitment. I tend to be a patient teacher, with high standards. I actively question the student, which allows me to challenge the student in my presence, where I am able to guide him/her. While I have predominantly tutored college students, I have also taught adults and children. My sister-in-law is probably my biggest supporter, since she has watched me teach my nephews (now 9 and 10) an array of subjects over the years. I would be happy to assist students with any courses necessary, as I am confident I can help them learn. I possess strong interpersonal skills which would allow the student to feel very comfortable learning with me. I would like to make the learning experience as fun as possible by using worksheets, visual aids, and any other activities that would assist in the student learning their material. As an undergraduate, I spent nearly three years assisting groups of students with how to learn content for the historically difficult courses of College Chemistry I and II. I have my BS in Nuclear Medicine Technology, which permitted me to learn and acquire a great understanding in multiple areas.
