I personally believe all children have the ability to be taught how to learn using a variety of methods from whole language to modified versions of other methods such as phonics for Reading instruction. My teaching style revolves around the idea of mastering important aspects of a subject area before moving to a more difficult subject area. In our current education system, students are allowed to move to more difficult courses without having the necessary building blocks.
