A Little Bit About Me...

I have effective communication skills. I beleive everyone can learn something new, if you can communicate to them in their realm of experience. I always seek ways to reach such realms by giving them a frame of reference or a standard that they can relate to.
I have been a secondary level teacher for 15 years and an elementary teacher for the prior 10 years. I taught in the Chicago Public School system for twenty of those years. I have extensive knowledge in physical and life science. I taught Biology for about 5 years. I am currently working on my second masters in Accounting. I enjoy working with all people young and old. When teaching someone, for me the most important thing is to get them to grasp the actual technique and reason for why something is important and how it is used, not just a strict memorization.
