My teaching style is based on reaching all students through differentiated instruction and being aware of any cultural differences among my students. I've worked with children in many differnt areas of education and with children on many different levels. My focus was on children with disabilities and speech/language disorders. I've worked with children w/developmental delays and regular education children. I've also served as a tutor to children in my area w/learning disabilities. I have a BS in Speech Pathology w/a minor in Special education and I am currently working on my MS Ed in School Counseling. I will graduate from the Univ of Southern MS in May 2011. I've tutored children in English, Math, Science, and Reading.

Throughout my undergraduate studies, I was heavily involved in volunteering and mentoring in everything from education to community outreach programs.
