I can tailor your lessons for your needs and then adjust them as your skills improve. For example, at some point in your progess you may need more grammar or vocabulary practice. At other times you migh need more conversational practice or written Spanish skills. I can help you with other course-work you may be studying. For example, if you are a college student who needs help with your written assignments or upcoming exams we can work on that to help get that good grade. In school I took a class that taught us that everyone learns in a different way. Just like how everyone sees things from different perspectives. After taking that class I realized that there is not just one way to teach or learn. I feel learning should be educational but fun. Repetition is also important. These aspects should all be combined in order to successfully help children learn. I am friendly, easy going, and like to have a good time. Learning does not have to be a chore but can be an exciting experience that a child can enjoy and appreciate. I worry that children think learning is boring and not worth their effort. Since undergraduate work, I have worked in the business world, primarily in the manufacturing arena. My academic experiences have continued on some level. In times past I tutored high school math students in North Carolina. I am proficient is equations, inequalities, Cartesian Coordinate System, polynomials, factoring and functions.
My style focuses on the processes in arriving at a solution. The learning goal in mathematics is to impart understanding of the process of working toward a solution, not attaining the solution.
