Right now I am helping out at Peterson Elementary School. The grade level that I am helping is kindergarten and I must say that I really do enjoy it. Last year I was helping out in Merced High School. The grade level that I was teaching was juniors and seniors the subject was Anatomy. I have volunteer helping out with kids and I really do enjoy it. In the future I am planning to become a teacher so hopefully that all works well.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am kind of new to teaching. I have taught my little brother everything he knows, and I've been told I have a really good way of teaching. Younger students catch on very quickly to what it is I am teaching. If they don't catch on quick, then no problem. I'm very patient and never give up until a student understands the concept. I am very easy to get along with, so the student will have no problems with me. I have worked nearly two decades in the educational system as a Sign Language Interpreter. I have experience with K-12, Community College, and University levels. I worked as Mentor for a K-12 school district with 13 Mentees for five years. Because of the new state law, the Mentee's goal was to become certified to continue with employment. 10 out of the 13 Mentee's succeeded in compliance with the state law.
