My comments on tutoring Drawing : I have an Art degree from the Academy of Fine Art of Rome, Italy, and have been teaching painting and drawing for many years. I also utilize art as therapy with adults who suffer from depression and anxiety (I am a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist).

As a teacher, I've successfully helped students get admitted into their desired magnet schools, such as LaGuardia High School, Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, and the San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts. I've also helped artists get their first freelancing gigs. I specialize in teaching drawing on paper as well as digital media, with programs such as Photoshop and GIMP.

I teach online through Skype or Google Hangouts. During drawing lessons, I take screenshots of the student's artwork. If the student is using their webcam while drawing on paper, I have them hold up their drawings to the webcam so that I can take screenshots of their work. As I'm sharing my screen, I digitally draw my demonstrations and mark up student's work so that they can precisely pinpoint where they should revise their drawings. This has been most effective, and students show improvement over the course of each hour they have lessons with me.
