A Little Bit About Me...

After graduating from the University of Miami, I taught Kindergarten, a 3rd/4th grade combination, 6th grade, and computers/technology. After having children, I transitioned to tutoring students, some with special needs including, dyslexia, auditory processing, traumatic brain injury, ADHD, and others. For the last 4 years, I have been a Reading Resource teacher, working with students in phonemic awareness, fluency, and comprehension. I have been a vocalist for more than 40 years. I've had some professional training in my younger years. I've also had some training as a guitarist. I'm currently applying for the guitarist tutor position. Although I don't possess a degree in music I feel certain that I can teach any curriculum specified in any coarse.
