Journalism is one of my top subjects! I am an experienced news and features writer, in my seventh year of employment for a weekly newspaper in Chino and Chino Hills. Teaching a student to ask questions and arrive at their own conclusions, with guided discussion, is the best way to ensure that the knoweldge stays with them. The questions are at least as important as the answers.

My comments on tutoring Journalism : Minored in writing at Loyola Marymount and took Journalism 1 and 2. I also was a history major, which required a great deal of research writing.

I am extremely calm and teach at my students speed. Being dyslexic and not learning how to read or write until I was in 7th grade I am understanding and well-tempered to learning speeds. I also have strong verbal communication skills.

My comments on tutoring Journalism : Have a Masters from USC's Annenberg School for Communication in Print Journalism

I have tutored elementary aged students in a group setting and elementary to high school aged students in a private setting for 3 years. I enjoy tutoring most in English, journalism, grammar, spelling, reading comprehension and writing skills. This includes college essays. I also have a Masters from USC and a Bachelors from UCLA.
